PŪTAHI RANGAHAU/AUT RESEARCH CENTRE

Virtual Production Work in Progress Research Seminar

The recent meeting for our DCT faculty-funded Virtual Production Voume research project brought together nine sub-projects, each focused on expanding the capabilities of our newly established virtual production studio.

These discussions fostered collaboration across a range of disciplines within the DCT faculty and brought together expertise from fields such as fine art, spatial design, computing, animation, filmmaking, and product design.

The overall project promises to place innovation at the heart of the VCD Research Centre, with a full showcase of the project’s findings due in November. The integration of these diverse perspectives is key to pushing the boundaries of virtual production and advancing new techniques that enhance both the creative and technical possibilities of the studio.
